Item Description
Each litho tin tray is 3-3/8" x 4-7/8" with an upward flared outer edge decorated with ten bear images. Each center illustration is captioned on bottom edge by publisher "Copyright, 1906, Edward Stern & Co. Inc." Top edge of tray carries text taken from the book. The first reads "They Took The Books And Down They Sat, To Read Emerson And The Autocrat". This tray also carries issuer name "Coshocton Hardware Co."  Small paint loss and burns at center, faint stain on upper right of scene and white mark on bottom edge. VG. Second with circus theme reads "But The Play That Caused The Biggest Laugh Was TEDDY-G On A Big Giraffe." A few streak marks on the illustration and blank black reverse has one third area with cream color. Front displays VF. Last reads "Two Roosevelt Bears Had A Home Out West In A Big Ravine Near A Mountain Crest".  Small scorch marks in sky above Teddy-G and one  lesser by his leg. Very glossy and extremely Fine. Much scarcer than most of the china pieces.
