Item Description
11.75" tall all fabric, felt-like stuffed Minnie Mouse doll w/pattern fabric skirt and felt flower attached to thread-covered wire by ear. Nice printed pie-eye accents and red, hand-threaded mouth. Original felt ears and complete w/original string whiskers and long and thin fabric tail. Made by Needleart Toys and distributed by George Borgfeldt & Co. under their "Nifty" toys name, early 1930s. Doll is complete w/original Nifty string tag attached around wrist. Tag has "Walt Disney's Minnie Mouse" name and fold below Nifty logo. Tag is Fine overall. Very faint spot of aging by eye and three small insect holes to flower, o/w doll is a high grade Exc. example. Rare and only the second of this size we have offered in our 52 years. Among the highest quality Minnie Mouse dolls made in the 1930s.
