Item Description
Pair produced by Ideal in the 1940s. Pinocchio was produced in several sizes, offered here is 10.75" tall version in wood/composition, complete w/felt hat w/feather and fabric bow tie. Decal on front is near 100% complete (w/only 3/8" dia. circular hairline crossing it). Composition body and head w/wooden arms and legs. Body shows scattered wear w/crazing to neck and collar as well as some minor crazing to hair and face (most notable on nose). Back of head has 7/8" crack radiating from neck; this is now stabilized. Hat has evenly aged. Displays Fine overall. Jiminy Cricket stands 8.5" tall complete w/felt collar/hat brim and fabric tie. Holds wooden umbrella in one hand. Underside of one foot has Ideal decal w/moderate flaking (about 60% remaining). Doll has some scattered aging and lt. wear w/some minor marks to face and aging to felt, including dark 1/8" spot on collar. Fine.
