Item Description
Nice quality 13.25" tall doll w/composition body and movable composition head, arms and legs w/fabric/felt outfit and separate felt hat. Pants have plastic buttons, felt shoes w/metal snaps. Knickerbocker, ©1939. Back of head has raised "Pinocchio" and Knickerbocker names. Doll's hat has original hat band and feather. Hat has even moderate aging and shows slight wear. Felt outfit and satin bow have even moderate aging. Fine overall. Head has stabilized cracks above nose and typical crazing to hair and .75" hairline crack behind Pinocchio's right ear. Both legs have tiny surface hairlines to sides of knees and back of one knee has .25" hairline. Tiny hairline to wrist, not distracting. .5x.75" area above one eye and 1/8x3/8" area at front of hair have been repainted. Trace of writing on back of neck. Doll stands well for display and is Fine overall. These dolls are typically found w/much more severe crazing/cracking to the composition material.
