Item Description
1-1/8x1-1/4". 1840. Black background has flaking and reverse shows traces of attempts to touch up some of the missing spots. These touch ups have affected the edges of the portrait. Just Good. Retains original pin, glass surface is clean and brass frame has only trivial wear. Van Buren sulfides are seldom offered in any condition and this is an especially rare variety.
