Item Description
4.5" long. Hake #3181. Sullivan/DeWitt 1888-54. Badge has text "National Association of Democratic Clubs." Jugate on reverse of glass has "1888" above the sepia-toned images. The 1-5/8" image area has gray lines affecting the photographic emulsion throughout. Fine. Still displays beautifully. This is among the largest and most impressive of all pre-1896 brass shell badges.
