Item Description
14" tall doll w/composition head (w/oilcloth hat brim) and painted wood jointed body. Ideal, ©1935 KFS. Chest has "Popeye" name/copyright decal. This is nearly 100% complete w/just tiny flake. Doll is complete w/original wooden pipe and red felt shirt collar. Wood jointed areas exhibit lt. wear and right forearm has some minor paint touch-ups; forearm does not bear anchor tattoo as seen on other forearm as made. Composition head has typical crazing to face, but all appears to have stabilized and color remains strong. Tightly strung and stands well for display. Displays VF. Scarce large size.
