Item Description
Set of six ranging in height from 2-5/8" to 3-5/8" tall. Made in Germany by Hertwig, 1920s. From "The Nebbs" comic strip that began in 1923. Lot includes Rudy Nebb, Fanny Nebb, Junior Nebb, DeLong Jones, Max and Ambrose Potts. All have character names and "Germany" incised on back as well as name of creator Sol Hess. All elastic is tight. Some scattered aging/dust soiling, but VF to VF/Exc. overall and as nice as they come. Much nicer than typically found. One of the rarest sets of all the comic nodders produced by Hertwig.
