Item Description
9" tall. Made by Cameo Doll Co. and distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt under the "Nifty" toyline name. 1930s. Very similar to Mickey Mouse figures w/lollipop hands but this scarcer example features standard hands and orange shoes instead of red. Composition head w/wooden body is complete w/fabric-covered wire tail that has wooden tip. "Mickey Mouse" chest decal has a few tiny edge flakes but is nearly 100% complete. These are typically found w/restoration, and this example has .25" flake w/touch-up to edge of ear but is o/w all original w/no other restoration. Typical crazing to face w/o the frequently seen flaking. Small black mark on one shoe, but still displays VF and stands nicely.
