Item Description
14x36" insert poster for the original release of the 1945 Universal Pictures Sherlock Holmes film starring Basil Rathbone as Sherlock and Nigel Bruce as Doctor Watson. Poster features portraits of Rathbone and Bruce at lower left watching speeding train (upon which majority of film takes place) w/full body image of Renee Godfrey at upper right. Three inset panels show illustrated clues. Poster has three horizontal folds as issued w/moderate margin wear including seven tears w/tape repairs on back, measuring between .75" and 3.5". Scattered handling/margin/corner tip wear. VG/Fine.
