Item Description
22x28" half-sheet movie poster for the original release of the 1957 Universal-International Sci-Fi monster film directed by Nathan Juran and starring Craig Stevens, William Hopper, Alix Talton and Pat Conway. Poster features great image of the titular giant insect scaling the Washington Monument as tanks and jets fire upon it. Six illustrated panels show scenes from the film. Lower right has frightened couple. Poster has been folded into quarters and has small staple holes across top margin and at lower right corner w/small pulls and hole at upper left. Small tear at center left at fold line. Lower left corner has creases. Fine overall.
