Item Description
18x24" mailing envelope w/original cardboard insert has United States Rubber Company return address and printed "U.S. Keds TV Promotional Package" text. 1960s. Envelope has handwritten notations in ink at one corner and shows heavy and obvious wear, w/age spotting, moisture staining and tears along opened end. Just Good. Envelope contains life-size, 17.25x59.5" tall thin glossy paper die-cut poster depicting child actor Jerry Mathers as the titular character from classic TV show "Leave It To Beaver." Poster shows him wearing pair of Keds sneakers and holding another model shoe. Folded as issued w/some aging and 5" and 5.75" fold lines at lower left corner. Fine overall. Both envelope and poster are rare, this the first example we've offered in our 52 years. Among the most impressive of all vintage "Leave It To Beaver" items.
