3" w/"Western Badge L.A. - Anaheim" on curl. Faint hairline scratches visible only in reflected light. Exc. Ms. Lempert served as JFK's traveling secretary during the 1960 campaign. These buttons were delivered to the staff residence in Los Angeles during the DNC. According to legend, Frank Sinatra knew that after JFK was the nominee he could no longer call him "Johnny" and had these buttons produced during the convention. Ex-Sec. Helen Lempart Archive.
