Item Description
Lot of five items related to Spanish-American War hero Admiral George Dewey, c. 1898-1900. Lot includes three busts measuring 3-1/8" to  approx. 5.5" tall. Smallest is cast metal on square base and shows moderate aging. VG/Fine. One of two larger busts is painted cast bronze metal w/round base. Scattered paint flakes/wear and is Fine. Other bust is solid milk glass. Scattered pencil marks but these could be removed for Exc. display. Lot also includes 4" tall ceramic creamer bearing Dewey portrait and image of his flagship the USS Olympia. Eagle spout has gold luster accents. Cook Pottery mark on underside w/1899 patent date. Typical crazing w/trace wear to images. Exc. 3" dia. solid sulfide glass paperweight w/"Remember The Maine" text and image of the ill-fated warship. NM.
