Item Description
Sizes 1.75 to 3-3/8" long. First with soap ad has 1898 W&H back paper. Small, faint mark by ear as printed. NM. Next is Mint gorgeous gold luster badge by Schwabb for "Souvenir/Return Of Admiral Geo. W. Dewey" with NYC celebration date "Sep. 28 1899". Next two were made for same NYC event and are similar, but different, double sided celluloids, the first on a brass hanger and with center dial naming "The Time Souvenir Co. New York."  Back shows Dewey in flag with red and blue colors faded. VG. Second dial reads "The World Time Co, St. James Bldg. N.Y." This reverse has portrait, flags, cannon balls and exploding cannon balls. A few age marks on outer edge. Fine. Over one million attended naval and land parades with a "Welcome To New York" address  by Theodore Roosevelt on Dewey's ship Olympia. First is scarce and last three are rare.
