Item Description
11.5x17.5" artboard has Stan Goldberg's pen and ink original art for cover of "Chili" #11, published by Marvel March 1970. Goldberg's art features "Millie's Red-Headed Rival" rushing to Reggie's aid after he was buried under a pile of snow on the side of the road as Santa Claus looks on. Larger title (w/Chili image) and publisher indicia are paste-over stats. This has come loose at bottom but o/w remains attached. Artboard has been taped to back of larger mat. Some lt. scattered staining at lower left w/fingerprint smudge by Santa's head. Displays VF as matted. Comes w/reading copy of the comic book this art was produced for.
