Item Description
27x41.5" for the original release of Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 horror/thriller based on the story of the same name by British writer Daphne du Maurier. Poster features photo image of Hitchcock at left w/"...And Remember, The Next Scream You Hear May Be Your Own!" promotional text. Rest of poster is dominated by iconic image of Tippi Hedren recoiling in terror from the titular Birds and their shadows. Poster was originally folded but has since been linen-mounted w/some minor restoration to bottom fold crease intersection and small staple holes at top corners. These blend nicely and are only noticeable upon close inspection. Poster exhibits some lt. margin wear at fold lines but o/w remains Exc. for display as linen-mounted and would look wonderful framed.
