Item Description
27x41" one-sheet poster for the original 1961 release of the Roger Corman-directed adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's classic short story. Starring Vincent Price, Barbara Steele, John Kerr and Luana Anders, it was the second title in the popular series of Poe-based movies released by American International Pictures, the first was Corman's "House Of Usher" (also starring Price) released the previous year. Poster is dominated by image of the titular Pit and Pendulum, w/Price overseeing Kerr's torture as Steele overlooks the scene from dungeon staircase. Folded as issued, poster has some small splits at fold crease intersections but is o/w very bright, clean and VF overall.
