Item Description
9.25" on green silk. Text at bottom "Printed At The 'Baltimore Republican' Office." Chastising Fremont for his support of emancipation w/graphic of three runaway slaves "Off For The Rocky Mountains" and noting "'National' Candidate Carries One Little State!" listing Fillmore as "Commander" of the "Know-Nothing" ship leaving "Baltimore For Salt River." Horizontal fold below deer graphic, scattered light brown moisture marks and a less than .25" split affecting the "T" in "Nothing." Fine. An over the top 1856 political ribbon that is rarely offered.
