Item Description
6-3/8x26" artboard w/pen and ink original art by "Red Ryder" creator Fred Harman. Art is for Dec. 24, 1940 and features three panels, w/Red Ryder rescuing Professor Adams from canyon country, stopping first to get Juke and Banks' guns. He promises Professor that is something should happen to him, Little Beaver would guide him to safety. Harman has signed first panel. Last panel has partial NEA Service, Inc. copyright strip. Artboard has penciled "A Safer Plan" title at top and blue pencil date at upper right margin. Artboard has some scattered margin aging and has vertical fold at center w/aging along it. Darker aging on back. Fine overall while art is VF.
