7x10.5" to 8x11.25". C.1905. First has blank back w/front featuring cartoon of Cleveland and lengthy Hearst quote referencing a corrupt US Bond deal that occurred during Cleveland's administration. Scattered edge losses and two tiny holes in field at bottom left. VG. Second is titled "Warning!!" w/groups listed including "Irishmen, Jews, Union Men, Policemen, Street Cleaners" and more. Cartoon of Murphy on cover w/quote at bottom "You Need Not Be Told That If Murphy Is In The Deal It Is A Deal To Injure The Decent People In The City. W. R. Hearst, In The Evening Journal Aug. 21, 1905." Contents include quotes from Hearst's paper and cartoons of New York scenes. Age toning and moderate handling wear including corner wear, VG.
