Item Description
1.75" w/"Badge-Banner Button Co. Lackawanna" back paper. Faint age toning most notably at extreme edge 8 o'clock. VF. Rare. This button was used in Dewey's first campaign for Governor. He lost by only 1.4% of the vote to the popular Herbert Lehman. The success of the campaign raised Dewey's status as a potential GOP Presidential nominee.
