Item Description
10.5x14.5" w/four single-sided pages (not including covers). Saalfield Pub. Co. #1502. ©1940 Superman, Inc. One of two varieties published by Saalfield (see previous item), this blue cover variety differs in that pages are printed on cardboard rather than stiff paper, w/pieces designed to be punched out along perforations instead of cut out. This variety features same contents including six separate Superman images in various action scenes but in some different page configurations. Of note, Superman archnemesis Lex Luthor is depicted as he first appeared in the comics, w/a full head of red hair. Book is complete and unused. Cover is evenly aged and bottom corner has some creases. Cover remains glossy and VF. Pages are bright, clean and NM. Rare, especially in this condition.
