Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard boxes each contain 4" long tin litho toy w/built-in key. Marx, 1930s. "Sparkling Tank" box is evenly aged and shows some wear to end flap closure tabs but is o/w VF. Tank moves about when wound but no longer sparks. Complete w/flint holder. "Turnover Tank" box shows more moderate wear, w/splits to end flaps and 2.75" side panel tear. VG, but side w/o tear still displays nicely. Tank moves about when wound and does complete flip. Both tanks show just lt. wear in the form of small paint nicks scratches and are VF overall. Classic 1930s pair.
