Item Description
Original 7-3/8xx12.5x4.25" deep cardboard shipping box contains paper label-covered cardboard box w/plastic horn and hand-crank w/braided thread to wear about neck, a nice replica of Clarabell's hurdy-gurdy, as seen on the classic TV show. When cranked, the hurdy-gurdy produced the Howdy Doody theme song. F.B.A. Industries Corp. 1950s. Box is complete w/inserts and has some small bits of dried rubberband attached on bottom but is o/w VF/Exc. Missing rubber bulb from back of horn. Some rippling to paper label and minor corner tip wear w/streak of staining on front edge. Fine/VF overall. Scarce as boxed.
