Item Description
6-3/8x16-3/8x2.25" deep illustrated cardboard box contains complete 1930s set by Noma Electric Corp. This set was produced for the Canadian market, not for the US. Box art includes lid illustration of various "Silly Symphonies" characters including the Three Little Pigs, Big Bad Wolf, Elmer Elephant and others w/side panels showing additional characters including the Three Little Wolves. Lid has corner tip wear w/corner creases and vertical crease across main lid panel. Box interior has insert w/large flip-up top panel showing the same art as lid. This has scattered moderate creasing and age spotting. Box is Fine overall. Set has eight hard plastic bulb shades w/wrap-around decals and w/vintage light bulbs plus original wiring and plug. Each shade has a different decal, one for each character, along w/their name. These include - Three Little Wolves, Toby Tortoise and Max Hare, Tillie Tiger and Cock Robin, Three Pigs and Big Bad Wolf, Three Pigs, Big Bad Wolf w/Three Little Wolves and Elmer Elephant w/Robber Kittens. Three Pigs and Big Bad Wolf shade has hairline crack and all decals have darkened w/age. A few have scattered tiny decal flakes. VF/Fine to VF overall.
