Item Description
9-3/8x16.5x2.25" deep box contains 1940s English set by the British Thomson-Houston Co. Ltd. Lid features choice art of Pinocchio and supporting characters including Jiminy Cricket and the Blue Fairy and additional Pinocchio images on all sides. Same art appears on the flip-up insert card. Box shows moderate aging and dust soiling, w/one lid corner split and another partial. Box is Fine overall. Insert has lt. corner tip wear and a few lt. edge creases but flip-up card remains bright, glossy and VF. Has 12 hard plastic bulb shades w/wrap-around decals featuring Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Geppetto, Blue Fairy, Figaro, Monstro the Whale, Foulfellow, Gideon and others. Eight different decal designs. English wiring w/extra wiring/sockets for six additional bulbs w/o shades as produced. One shade has .75x1" V-shaped piece missing. Shades have typical aging. Decals have darkened w/age and have some small scattered decal flakes. Broken shade is just Good while rest is Fine/VF overall.
