Item Description
Pair of first printing posters for Fillmore West concerts headlined by The Grateful Dead. BG-154 measures 14x21.5" and was for Jan. 2-4, 1969 concerts that also featured Blood Sweat & Tears and Spirit. Poster design by Randy Tuten (his first Bill Graham poster) features composite images of photo of The Queen Mary passenger ship, drawing of bus stop as viewed through open door. BG-237 measures 14x21" and was for June 4-7, 1970 concerts that also featured New Riders of the Purple Sage and Southern Comfort. Poster design by Davis Singer featuring photo of hawk in front of human skull X-ray. Both are NM. BG-237 comes with Wolfgang's Vault Certificate of Provenance.
