Item Description
Pair of first printing posters for Fillmore West concerts headlined by B.B. King. BG-181 measures 14x22" and was for July 8-13, 1969 concerts that also featured Aum, The Frost, Santana, Taj Mahal and the Famin's Groovies. Poster design by David Singer features statue looking out window and photo image of soldiers and explosion. BG-235 measures 14x21.75" and was for May 21-24, 1970 concerts that also featured Albert King and Mendelbaum. Poster design by Wilfred Satty and David Singer features the "Split Fountain Technique" in which poster fades from one color to the other from side to side. Main image features classical statues sitting at rest on large cat. Both are NM. Comes with Wolfgang's Vault Certificates of Provenance.
