Item Description
Lot of four 11x14" lobby cards for the original release of the 1948 Columbia 15 chapter serial starring Kirk Alyn as Superman. Lot includes three cards are for Chapter 1, "Superman Comes To Earth" and single card for Chapter 6, "Superman In Danger!" Chapter 1 cards show Superman's parents on Krypton, Superman's adoptive parents finding him as an infant in his crashed rocketship and man facing down racing locomotive. These have lt. even aging and minor corner tip wear. VF overall. Chapter 6 card has Superman facing down man pointing pistol at him. Lower left corner has 4" corner crease and some lt. scattered margin soiling. Brown paper tape on back at top/bottom center margins. Fine overall.
