Item Description
Lot of three pieces related to Silvercup Bread, sponsors of "The Lone Ranger" radio show during the 1930s and issued many premiums during that time. 7/8" dia. silvered brass and blue enamel paint badge features image of Lone Ranger on Silver w/"Lone Ranger Safety Club - Silvercup" text. This was basic member's badge issued in 1934. Badge retains high luster and is Exc. 11" long bread wrapper on foam form does not feature any Lone Ranger images/text, but is of the period. Some lt. corner tip wear and scattered lt. aging. VF. 7" tall nice quality silverplate trophy incised w/text "Silver Cup Bread" was most likely used as a salesman's award. Trophy has typical all over aged patina and is Fine/VF overall. Rare and the only example we've seen in our 52 years. Interesting Lone Ranger-related lot.
