Item Description
Original cardboard shipping sleeve contains "Special Offer" cardboard display measuring 10x15x1.25" deep w/three circular cut-outs to hold 12 bowls "Beetleware" (hard plastic) bowls, each 5.5" in dia. by 2" deep. Bowls feature alphabet/numerals on the rim while interior has image of Donald Duck (4 total; 2 red/1 blue/1 yellow) or Mickey Mouse (eight total; 4 red/2 blue/2 yellow). Display shows moderate wear/aging, more noticeable at edges. Not too detracting w/bowls in display position. VG. 10x14" cardboard sign features additional Donald and Mickey images as well as showing boxes of "Post's 40% Bran Flakes" and "Grape=Nuts Flakes" cereals, noting free bowl w/purchase of box of each. Sign has instructions for set-up on its bottom edge. Sign has some lt. tanning at bottom w/trace insect damage to white strip along bottom. Still displays VF. While the give-away bowls are relatively common, the display and sign promoting them are quite rare. Bowls are essentially Mint as made. Very rare as a full display and impressive as such.
