Item Description
First is 1.25" with blank tanned back paper and with collet stamped "Phelps Patent May 30 1899 USA." Front names church "Bethany" with young girl praying at center of pansy flower and text below "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread". Interesting design and color. Light surface wear in reflected light. First seen. Exc. Second is 13/16" with back paper of NYC firm "Goodenough & Woglom Co., Sunday School Supplies". Charming early 1900s button to celebrate "Children's Day" with slogan below "With Sunshine, With Song". Heads of a young boy and young girl looking and smiling at each other from their positions atop red and yellow roses. Reverse has 5/8" hairline split by the collet, barely seen. Button displays Mint. Only example known to us.
