Item Description
1940s. 3.75x4.5x1-1/8" box has paper-covered lid w/"Taken From A Japanese Soldier On The Battlefield - Embalmed In Australia" text. Lid has some scattered moisture staining and slight inward warp w/some paper separation along edges. Box retains its shape and is Fine overall. Box contains painted plaster simulated severed penis. Flat back. Few tiny paint rubs. Red "blood" at one end from where it was supposedly detached from Japanese soldier. Tiny traces of paint wear. Exc. Graphic and one of the rarest and most unique of all anti-Axis items produced. Only one we've seen in our 52 years.
