Item Description
c. 1780. 2" dia.,  reverse has 2.25" long post. Washington in military uniform w/text in banner above and a pair of olive branches above. Light wear most notable a tiny less than .25" hairline crack at extreme outer edge 9 o'clock. VF. We've encountered several varieties of these English made pieces w/different portraits and designs but this is the first we can recall w/olive leaves at top. A popular and scarce artifact of the founding father and first president.
