Item Description
1940s. Although with a different typeface, this button appears to be a mate to anti-Axis button #613. The construction of the two buttons is identical, although this Japan example has lost most silver flashing from the reverse. Front remains with high gloss and deep, intense red. In reflected light some small scratches can be seen plus very shallow indent dots on lower "T" of With and second upper "A" of Japan. Defects are very minor. Very striking, overall Exc. and only example we can recall offering in our 52 years.
