Item Description
9" wide by 6" tall tin litho w/built-in key. 1930s. This famous toy was produced in three different versions, this is the version w/o marquee on top of the piano as back of piano has no slots (see previous item) as made and conductor. Great all over mice illustrations. Mice band members in this version are drummer, piano player, conductor and dancer. Toy works and features great action, all mice move. Top of piano shows wear from where conductor sits w/ring of lt. oxidation and toy exhibits lt. scattered paint nick/scratches. The heavy wear usually found on this toy's drum head and keyboard is not as evident. Fine overall.
