Item Description
6.75x10.25" sheet of artpaper has pen and ink original art of The Ghost Rider riding Spectre towards viewer. Art has hand-inked "The First Ghost Rider - Co-Created In 1949 For Magazine Enterprises By Dick Ayers" text. Ayers and writer Ray Krank created Ghost Rider for Vincent Sullivan's "Tim Holt Comics" #11 in 1949. Ayers drew the character until the mid-1950s and again when it was revived by Marvel Comics in "Ghost Rider" #1 in 1967. Ghost Rider and Spectre have been hand-colored as has lt. blue area of artpaper. Ayers signed at lower right, adding "'96" date. Exc.
