Item Description
7.25x10" single-sided sheet features six-panel comic story showing Batman and Robin patrolling in Batmobile, where they come upon a football team in an argument about an African-American player, stating that he's not American. One player stands up for the African-American player, to which Batman tells the players that their behavior is in fact what's not American and teaches them about acceptance and sportsmanship. Sheet features art by longtime "Batman" comic artist Dick Sprang. ©1949 National Comics Publications Inc. Printed within DC Comics of the day. High grade, NM example.
