Item Description
10.25x14" plastic ring-bound book issued to retailer's to promote Gleem Tooth Paste, Prell Shampoo, Hidden Magic Hair Spray and Lilt Foam Home Permanent products. ©1966 NPP, Inc. Front cover features classic full body image of Batman running towards viewer w/"The Hottest TV Personality Of The Year! Joins Forces With The Good Guys" w/book opening to reveal five additional Batman images (including "Batman" comic book title logo) as well as five images of Robin (shown punching The Joker in one image). The Joker is featured one additional time, battling Batman. Pages feature six die-cut and relief mounted word sound effects as seen on the "Batman" TV show; one Robin page is missing die-cut (not distracting). One page features Prell premium comic book, which was published as "Batman - The Joker's Practical Jokes!" while another page features image of rare store display featuring Batman vs. Joker, Batman protecting the $250,000 sweepstakes prize money above product display. Printing error has resulted in double "And For Extra" page while omitting another page that was solely text. Book is still complete as issued. Some scattered minor color rubs and corner tip wear but still Exc. overall. Very rare, we know of only one other example. As impressive as any promotional Batman item we've seen.
