1940s. Large 35x45" poster promotes an interesting concept sponsored by Jeep maker Willys-Overland Motors. Top of poster shows factory w/columns of Jeeps carrying soldiers down road. Poster challenges school students to buy enough war bonds/stamps to pay for a complete Jeep. Photo image of Jeep at bottom center is surrounded by diagram of parts and their individual costs. When the school had saved enough to purchase one of the 19 parts shown, a picture would be pasted over it until all 19 had been paid for and the school had effectively purchased an entire Jeep for the military. Poster has been folded as issued and shows moderate aging to one-eighth section showing close-up of soldiers in Jeeps. 4" horizontal split at center w/small splits at fold crease intersections. Bottom right has .5x1.25" area of dark aging. VG overall. Scarce.
