c. 1896. 2-1/8" w/back paper reading in part "The Hearnly Medallion Designed By E.C. Deacon, Indianapolis, Ind. From Suggestion Of Patriotism/Prosperity By Hon. Chas. S. Hernly, Chairman Indiana Republican State Committee." Left side of design features a graveyard accented by American flag and golden sunburst on the horizon w/text "Our Dead Lie Buried In The Sands Of The Luzon. No Foreign Flag Shall There Salute The Dawn." Right side has a street scene w/a parade of happy workers carrying dinner pails and text "The People Shall Not Vote Themselves Into The Poor House Twice In Eight Years." The "Eight Years" is a reference to the election of Cleveland in 1892.  An outstanding example with perfect centering, high gloss, gorgeous color. NM. Ron Koot Collection.
