Item Description
7.5x10.5" illustrated envelope contains 14.25x20.25" nicely illustrated stiff paper gameboard/map. ©1933 Stephen Schlesinger Inc. Three versions of this game exist - American, Australian and Canadian, all w/different issuers. This Canadian version was issued by Weston's English Quality Biscuits. Front of envelope features map, back has instructions w/playing pieces to be cut out. These include character head markers of Tarzan, Akut, Numa and Sheeta w/numbered pieces. Envelope's flap has aged rubberband adhered to it and middle left edge has .25" chip. Playing pieces remain uncut. Fine. Gameboard features large image of Tarzan w/Weston's logo. 1" archival tape repairs on back at left/right center edges by fold line. Some surface paper lifts along lower left margin on back, does not affect front's display, which remains VF. Scarce w/envelope playing pieces uncut.
