Item Description
Lot of six 1940s postcards, each approx. 3.5x5.5". Three are from series featuring "X-Ray Photo Of Hitler's/Hirohito's/Mussolini's Brain" w/illustrations of Axis leaders w/cut-away showing contents of brains, which include Nazi swastika snakes, weapons, skeletons and Hitler's face in the case of Mussolini's brain. Each has brief statement about said leaders under their images, including "Insane/Cut Throat/Dunce." A fourth card features similar Hitler X-Ray design, but by different artist and on non-glossy stock. This has additional contents list on back. Later Canadian color pair features cartoon images of Hitler sitting on large "Time Bomb" and as "The Mad Sweeper" standing on anthropomorphic Earth w/broom. All are unused and shows some lt. aging. VF to Exc overall.
