Item Description
11x17" DC Comics artboard has pen and ink original art by Graham Nolan for page 26 of "Hawkworld" Vol. 2 #18, published by DC Dec. 1991. Page features four panels, showing Hawkwoman attempting to regain control of her ship after being attacked by Attila. Hawkman is seen trying to distract Attila as Hawkwoman attempts to crash land her ship in Lake Michigan instead of on the streets of Chicago. Hawkwoman appears in two panels, Hawkman appears in two and Attila appears in two as well. Top margin has inked title and issue/page numbers. Screentone accent in first panel. Back has nicely rendered pencil sketch portrait of man. Nolan has signed in silver paint pen at lower left. Second panel has some aging to cut-out and applied stat of Sears Tower and Chicago cityscape (small Hawkman image in this panel is all original art), but o/w art is clean and Exc.
