Item Description
Large 25.5" tall canvas-covered weighted figure w/wooden base. 1940s. Canvas front features stereotypical caricature of Tojo, who wears a hat bearing the Rising Sun of Imperial Japan. Moderate dust soiling w/scattered moisture staining at bottom left. Fine overall. We have seen smaller anti-Axis carnival punks over the years, but the size and detailed art seen on this example is the first we've seen in our 52 years.
