2.25". Curl reads "Mayor Thomas P. Costin Jr." This button was used at the 1956 Democratic Convention and includes book title "A Profile In Courage" which in the following year won the Pulitzer Prize. The faintest light gray dot at 12 o'clock mentioned for extreme accuracy. Otherwise almost no surface wear. Exc.
