Item Description
These Steiff dolls came in a variety of sizes and this is the smallest version made by them, standing 4.75" tall. 1930s. Stuffed felt doll w/oilcloth eyes and four mother-of-pearl pants buttons. Has both cardboard tag attached to chest and button in ear w/complete /fabric tag. String whiskers are present (typically missing) but missing rubber tail (as is typical). Color remains strong and bold, this doll does not exhibit the usual color fade. Just some lt. dust soiling to white portion of face and despite missing tail, doll still displays Exc. Very charming doll in this small size and as nice as we've seen.
