Item Description
2-3/8x5.75x.75" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 1.25x1-5/8" chrome luster case New Haven watch, ©1951 Chicago Tribune. Box is complete w/cardboard insert and lid has even aging w/some corner tip wear and corner crease but o/w remains tight. Insert shows trace wear. VF overall. Watch features dial w/"Dick Tracy" name/image w/Tracy's arm (w/pistol drawn) being animated, going up and down as if shooting as each second ticks by. Watch comes w/warranty paper and is unused old store stock and still has original "New Haven $6.95" foil price tag attached to original leather band. Winds but not running; just needs a cleaning and is o/w as nice as these come. NM, old store stock. Choice condition, rare as boxed. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
