Item Description
Pair of items from 1938-1939 Quaker Puffed Wheat and Quaker Puffed Rice cereal premium promotion. Two-sided paper sign is 20" long and tapers from 9" at bottom to 12" at top. Shows Quaker premiums including "Official Dick Tracy Aviation Caps, Dick Tracy Radio Adventures" premium book, "Dick Tracy Rocket Plane, Official Dick Tracy Flashlight" as well as non-Tracy items including "Monogram Ring, 3-Power Pocket Size Telescope, Your Own Secret Telephone, Table Tennis Set" and "Chinese Checkers" that were available w/box tops and cash. Designed as a two-sided sign to be hung on a string for in-store display. Scattered handling wear but bright, clean and VF/Exc. Rare full sign. Comes w/"HS" monogram brass ring w/adjustable bands and geometric designs on each side. Top has a rectangular plate in silver luster and this holds personalized "HS" die-cut brass initials. Full bright luster remains, high grade NM example of this scarce ring.
